Bonnie Schneider is a CNN meteorologist that can be seen at HLN, CNN, and various other platforms. In March 2012, Bonnie will serve as the expert on TV, executive, and producer of a DIY NETWORK special, titled THE LAST HOUSE RESISTING. Her first novel to be published was EXTREME WATER Palgrave Macmillan. It was published on January 31st, 2012 by Palgrave Macmillan. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston, Schneider was the three-day reporter on special assignments who reported on entertainment and lifestyle. Before joining WB56 she worked as the forecaster on weekends for WFOR-TV Miami. She worked in a variety of reporting and meteorology positions such as News 12 Long Island (a 24 hour cable TV news channel) and WXII-TV in Winston-Salem. While in New York City, she served as a weatherman fill-in on The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
