Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress best known for playing Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" she has been gaining some fame. Calvano originates from California and initially was fascinated by gymnastics. Later, she decided to pursue a career as an actress. In an episode of CBS's show "NCIS" the actress made her debut in 2010. She made her big-screen debut within a year with the biographical "J Edgar". In the past, she's established herself as one of the most exciting actors of the current business. She was nominated in 2011 for an Young Artist Award in the category of the Best Performance by Young Actresses between 11 and 15 for her work on NCIS. In 2013, she was nominated once again for the Young Artist Award. This time, for her appearance in Disney XD's "Kickin' It'. Calvano had a significant role in "Mom", the series the first three seasons of, as well as making appearances on several episodes of Season 4. In 2015, her role on 'Mom" was recognized with the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
